Hotel Quite Acceptable Denver Today

09.44

Hotel Quite Acceptable, Denver.

Today in Broad Chalke church, at 14.30 Broad Chalke time, the funeral service for Les Collins.

And a telephone message waiting for me this morning: a friend in Bredonborough flew from this world last Sunday. They had been suffering from a resurgent cancer.

Here in Denver, it is grey.

10.01 Hugh has called from DGM HQ to say that Les has been put to rest. Les will now be cussing angels in a dialect so broad they may be struggling to understand what he is saying to them.

23.44 Hotel Quite Acceptable, St. Louis.

An uneventful evening flight. The Crimbus was waiting at the airport to carry us to the hotel.
